Hollandaise sauce

This is a basic recipe for béchamel sauce with the tip to preheat the milk in a separate saucepan or in the microwave. Using preheated milk reduces the risk of the béchamel sticking to the bottom of the pan, which is very common and can be frustrating to clean. It can be used as a sauce for vegetables or combined with cheese in lasagna, among other dishes.
