Start by heating a frying pan over medium heat and slice the bacon into approximately 1-2 cm wide strips. Place the bacon in the pan and fry until it starts to brown, stirring occasionally. However, be careful not to fry it too harshly to prevent burning. Optionally season with thyme and black pepper. Usually, no additional salt is needed as the bacon is often cured and sufficiently salty.
